A Pilish Poem for a Perfect Partner
Let a word I speak—abandoned (by effort),
Given joy—reach unlikely quadrants.
Ugliest sabotages bid me cry, "Tomorrow! Wait!"
Driven on, daring, weak ego yet absolute.
Why is fearful cowardice strong?
Earmarking my repeated romantic will,
I earnestly attempt a (likely eccentric) try:
Babblings (abashedly few) harken,
Utter, "A wallflower, timid question to aggrandize!"
[Facepalms]
Rambled crap.
Calculate each vile noise narcistic.
An old wantonness fuzzily provided a futile ruin.
Reasserted, accept my original intent:
My maneuvered rambling verbosity,
Fruitless, resounds wasted.
So terrible!
Tenderness.
'Ere more clanging or babel hum,
That, my declaration, escapes.
Faithfully, candid, eternal.
Adoration.
Likeness of a fair princess,
Inimitable Cytherea,
Lovely woman I vow to treasure,
Is now integrated wholly within mine essence.
Zealotries forgotten,
Hew grasping arms away,
Enfold graciously thine heart:
Idealistic repose, adhere to me!
How I cherish us.
Fused now, never let plans,
Villainous with malevolent ambition,
A mo' embezzle from blissful unification.
I, humbled here, eying radiantly, enraptured:
My devotion.
Only I, continuing to worship a celestial she,
Affection given by benefaction invaluable.
Guard these words carefully,
Secret, said when alone:
Barren, to me, perpetual
Will anything—breathing, bliss, days,
Multitude (aye infinitely) coy pleasure—
I encounter remain away from an ethereal elegance.
I illustrate obstacles,
Barriers along nearly untold paths.
Traveling, not yet home,
Held joyful, I am complete.
Sing faintly while colors fade,
Softened by apt awe.
Embrace constant change.
Moments vanished ere a second passes,
Moved by immense earthshaking providence.
A rambling anthology's reception
I have tread wholly flat.
Ambition noted, motifs pruned:
Eloquence is not love,
Though infinitely may ours multiply.
